Mel’s Empire provides a range of premium fresh bakes for self-indulgence, celebrations, gifts or events such as birthdays and wedding. We also provide cookies supplies for resellers and accept desserts and door gifts for birthdays, wedding or any occasions. Our bakes can be customized as hampers or gift packs that will present as a great gifts for people that matters. Our signature bakes are our brownies and the Milo and Horlicks Cookies that truly meets the local tastebuds.
Other than providing premium quality fresh bakes such as cookies, celebration cakes, pastries and variety of other desserts, our baking classes will immense you into a memorable baking experience. Our baking classes are interactive an engaging conducted by experienced and ACTA certified baking facilitators.
We have come a long way since 2009 and is happy to have been selected and passed the accreditation by Association of Trade and Commerce (ATC) and won an SME500 Singapore Award last year.
The person behind Mel’s Empire Bakery is Sanisah Melati, an F&B enthusiast who grew up in a hawker environment since she was a 7 year old child. Being the founder and owner of this baking business, she has brought Mel’s Empire on various stages since its start. She studied Diploma in Business Administration at PSB Academy and continued with a Degree in Business and Finance under Coventry University while concurrently running the business. She has also attended Shatec Institutes, WSQ Manage F&B Operations and attended numerous baking classes with Shatec, other private organizations and local chefs.
Being passionate in teaching her baking skills, she has also attained WSQ Advance Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) in 2018 and has recently completed her WSQ Diploma in Adult and Continuing Education (DACE) with Institute of Adult Learning. She has brought Mel’s Empire Bakery on various phases during this long journey while at the same time being an active life long learner.
